For two weeks the whole of Edmund Hillary School has been going to Massey Park Pools. We were able to learn how to swim and how to be calm when in a bad situation that includes water. Only 13 of the students in room 10 went swimming, the other 9 students were able to watch and learn. During our swimming lessons the 9 people who didn’t swim had to read a book and chat with each other. There were 3 instructors who made sure that all of us were safe.

On Monday, my class went to Papakura Intermediate for tech. We’ve been learning how to make many different types of dishes. Yesterday we made Cheesy Potato Bites.  We used many ingredients like bacon, potatoes and cheese. So far during Food Tech we have made Deviled Eggs, Pizza Rolls, Mozzarella Cheese Bites and Cheesy Potato Bites.
