I am a Year 7 student at Edmund Hillary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 10 and my teacher is Peta. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
It's so great to see you participating in this years' SLJ programme, "Changemakers: People who have changed the world". Thanks for telling us about your dream job! A doctor, hey? That's great!! What do you like so much about looking after people?
I'm really happy to hear that your teachers and your whānau support you so much, you're really lucky. A friend of mine recently finished Medical School - she graduated just the other day. She's a really lovely person and it gives me a lot of hope knowing that someone as kind as her is out there helping people in need. I have no doubt that you'll be just as amazing.
A doctor is a magnificent choice. It's kind of you to want to look after those in need and help people out! You must be a very helpful person. Some teachers definitely can help educate you before you become a doctor.
It's so nice of your family to support you so much! They must be really great people, it seems like you're very lucky to have people like them. I hope that you'll become a doctor in the future! It sounds like you'll be great at it.
I hope your holidays are going well and you’re having lots of fun. I see you haven't posted on your blog in a wee while. There’s still plenty of time left to do what you can and get more points and get those cool prizes that are up for grabs.
Remember that you can go back or skip ahead to do the tasks in any order you like so you can always start with the most interesting ones first.
I hope you are having a great holiday. Looking forward to seeing you at school next week. I think you will make an awesome doctor as you are very hard working, kind and always make the right choices. There's nothing stopping you from achieving your goals.
